WATTCCHHHA! Kung Pao Chicken!

 
Glad today tak hujan..penat dok basuh baju pastuh kain nye asik lembap aje
Pastuh tadi ada shiken ( exam ) ..satu mlm tarak tedo, study la kononnye Habis shiken, dah dekat kol 4pm, still tak lunch lagi pastu dok pk nak masak apa..

"..ayam ada cenonet lagi, masak nasi dah la..lauk apa tapi?"

Haaaa...so I open my sumber resepi ->> Forum.cari and found this recipe called the "Kung Pao Chicken" ( bunyik cam ayam kungfu ) Thanks to Cranko21 from the forum for the marvelous recipe..enakkk!



Again, telling myself to hurry up sbb perut dah buat lagu samba, I opt for this recipe because of the simplicity of it. Lauk ni mmg betui org kata.." main campak-campak aja dah siap.."
I prepared the lauk for not more than 20 mins rasanya..elok lauk masak, nasik ku pon masak juga..alhamdulillah ( tayah tunggu )

Then lepas dah gayakan lauknye depan kamera jap ( hehe ) I sat down with Zairul and had lunch together..My bad sbb kurangkan pedas lauknye sbb I think it would've tasted better kalau pedas sket..Anyhoo, lauknye habis and perut pon suka hati sbb dah kenyang..

Here's the recipe ppl:

Ingredients:

600 gm chicken ( whit meat/dark meat --> ikut selera )
cornflour
salt pepper

100 gm cashew nuts - toasted ( nak grg pon bleh )
30 gm dry chilli, cut into half
1 large onion, cut into big chunks
4 cloves garlic, pounded
3 cm ginger, pounded
1 green bell pepper ( capsicum )
3 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1/4 cup water
oil
salt, pepper, sugar to taste

How to make:

1. Season the chicken with salt&pepper and then coat with cornflour. Deep fry and place on kitchen towel.
2. Saute dy chilli and put aside. Then saute the garlic, ginger and onions.
3. Add in the capsicum, fried chicken, oyster sauce, chilli sauce and tomato sauce and add the water.
4. Lastly add in the cashew nuts and dry chilli that was put aside. Let simmer for 3-5mins, remove from heat and serve with warm white rice.

And tomorrow is a Saturday..

dani >> thanks for trying the recipe dani aaa, yg coarse crumb tu slalu nye org buat pakai jari..mcm nak buat tepung kuih tat gitu. tak pon pakai garfu kalau tanak butter nye cair cepat ( sbb tu kena pakai butter yg sejuk betul ) pastuh, biscuits ni mcm scone gak..tayah gaul byk2..asal dia dah terkumpul tu dah ok dah..maybe sbb tu kot dani nye tak naik sgt.. nx time try buat coarse crumb tu pakai jari/garfu pastuh mix brg2 yg liquid tu sket2 asal tepung suma dah terkumpul. pastuh potong ikut bentuk yg dani suka..give it a try and let me know how it turns out ok!
